Just an FYI... I'll be MIA for two weeks
The move is scheduled for tomorrow (I hope I can make it that long). I won't have access to the internet for two weeks (oh no!). I WILL post pics of the new house when I am back online.
I leave my current house with mixed feelings. It was my first house purchase and the only house my dad was able to see before he passed away a little over 3 years ago. He was so proud of me. The house was much bigger and newer than the one I grew up in. My dad always wanted more for his kids than what he had. He really took pride in our accomplishments. I miss him, especially now. This house is also the first house Savanna has lived in with me and we have created many wonderful memories here. I'm sure we will have many happy memories in the next house too. So, I move with a bit of sadness and feelings of excitement and joy for the new home. (I need to move because my current house is a two-story and my dear mom fell going down the stairs and hurt her ankle. She really can't do stairs very well now. And, my elderly frail aunt has been staying with us and she can't go up the stairs at all. Lastly, the school system in the new town is all that I could hope for for Savanna-- yes, I know, she has a few years to go but I believe in long term planning
).
I have been so forgetful lately. I think my boss is starting to worry about me. I am not paying attention to details as I should. It is worrying me too. Maybe I'm more tired than I realize. I'm like the energizer bunny and just keep going, going, going. I hope the transition is quick and smoothe. The last thing I need right now is to worry about job security.
As for my bloggin' buddies, I'll be checking in on you. I sure hope Erinberry gets her referral this week and Stacy finds out Ingrid IS hers and Angel has a great visit with Zoe in Guatemala. Many prayers going out to Nan right now. Please stop by "The Galica Family" and give her some love. Can someone please tell Lisa, "Dominics Homecoming", to post some more pics? Just kidding, kind of.
Wishing you well. Be safe and have FUN!
Betsy
